The teenager was severely injured after someone shot him in the head while he was working at a Wendy’s on 19th Avenue and Glendale Road last Thursday.
It was an argument over BBQ sauce that caused the shooting, according to the teen’s father Brian Durham Sr.
“He was going to start speech therapy today,” his father said. “He is slowly making progress.”
Durham Jr., who is also called B-man by his family and friends, is now out of the ICU and he has been moved to his own room from the ICU.
The teen is now off a ventilator and he is breathing unassisted. He is following commands and is able to move his hands and legs, his father said. Thank goodness.
After a brief investigation, the Phoenix Police Department arrested Theotis Polk, 27, in connection to this Wendy’s shooting.
Although there are no mugshots from the crime scene, there are videos from the incident. The video contained clips of the victim on a stretcher with bandages wrapped around his head.
Theotis Pok, 23 years, was the principle suspect within the capturing of a 16-year-old boy who is known as Brian Durham Jr. The sufferer of this capturing incident was an worker of a Phoenix Wendy’s fast-food restaurant.
