I think you kind of misinterpreted my post. I agree that failing to to file timely is news, because a missed deadline is actual news on the day after the deadline. An eviction is actual news because it can be confirmed by looking at the court docket and seeing the company named in the proceeding. The resignation of a board member or executive certainly is "news," even though there may be an attempt to avoid publication of that event. (In fact, the lack of an announcement of such a resignation only enhances the quality of that event as "news."
And yes, I suppose every day that goes by without the announcement of a CC or the publication of a PR somehow is news ("old" news, probably, after a while), but that is like saying the SP is news every day. I do not consider those types of information "news," because I see "news" as a change in the status quo, not the continuation of it.
There also are those items which are inferred to be news, even though it is nothing more than the continued status quo. For example, BallFan's post ( https://investorshangout.com/post/view?id=6343620 ) refers to the NYT vaccine tracker, and apparently infers that the lack of a designation of "ABANDONED" means that activity continues, while I think it is simply the result of inertia (i.e., until you tell us something has changed, we will not change our list), because GNBT/NuGen has gone silent.
Anyway, that is the long explanation for my earlier post. I appreciate your taking the time to read it.
Still waiting for a change in the status quo, though. Hopefully, something comes, and soon, even if it does not add the coffers. At this point, any news is good news.
