Sally Lavender Lotion Lady in Nebraska giving QVC a 60% cut?

Greedy Bastards

All those dirty secrets about QVC and HSN are true. I've posted about them before.

Was thinking after that video, Ms Eckman won't be going back on. Sure enough, she also updated her QVC experience to show it ending as well.

So why do sellers put up with QVC nonsense?

Ahhh, because they have a monopoly. They bought out their only real competition HSN.

Verb's Market is looking VERY attractive compared to QVC & HSN. They aren't taking a 60% cut, you are not on at 3AM, you don't have to have a huge inventory and take it all back what doesn't sell, you aren't locked into 9 minutes, etc.

The other thing is, Market can stream multiple events at once unlike QVC & HSN that are locked into a fixed number of channels.

No wonder why companies want to sign a long-term contract.

QVC has a major problem too. Their revenue isn't really growing.

Their stock looks like that too.

Fan base dying off. Another Blockbuster, ToysRUs, Borders, Sears, Lord & Taylor, etc. that eventually will go out of business if they don't adapt.

Or will they eventually change and Verb's Market is just ahead of the curve?

According to Gartner, Shopable Media is 2.5 - 5 years away.

Report came out in July, so let's say 2 - 4.5 years away.

Verb has it now...
