The same way I can sense when someone is about to be a real Rosenbaum (dbag) on the road because I’ve spent decades logging miles, these front line workers have a feel for how this shit goes down when a typical patient gets critical. There should be some fairly easy to spot signs that the drug might be working. (Self-extubating, rapid improvement, etc.) Of course they won’t know for sure until later, and any sort of EUA or order for vials won’t come until it’s analyzed and stamped official. But I’d bet good money that if they’re paying any attention, they “know”.
