I agree, me thinks the shareholder update was full of positives for investors. While I really like to hear that there are increased opportunities for expanding the business of selling the CannaCig via distributors, dispensaries and outlets and also marketing will take place for the CannaCig, what I really love is the focus on getting disclosure and financial filings out to the public! I think for investors this has been the critical pivot point for investing in RFMK or not. Investors must have the usual filings, like a 10k, etc, or else no matter how much they think a company is expanding and progressing, it is nearly impossible to invest into because without disclosure, investors have no idea where the paid-in capital is going. Without proper filings, confidence dwindles and so does the volume and the price follows quickly thereafter. The push to get on the OTCBB exchange was the greatest take away from the update, from my perspective.
It is true though that an audit and filing all the paper work and waiting for SEC responses take a lot of time but hopefully the company can get on the OTCBB before the year is out, that would be tremendous progress for investors. With the company trading on the OTCBB, the stock is exposed to an entirely new group of investors and investment capital. Not to mention the long term funding prospects for the company once on the OTCBB, it opens the corp up to a much better chance at total success because of the larger capital that would invest in the story.
All of the data points in the update were really perfect for a shareholder update. I think the CEO is understanding that simple updates about progress and time projections on plans is best left to shareholder updates while PRs can be used for news of realized progress which has already been completed. This shareholder definitely appreciated the shareholder update today! Other micro cap companys should take note and see how easy it is to build shareholder relationship by way of simply updating investors about what is getting done and what is planned using a simple web site and web pages. I am suprised that other micro caps do not keep shareholders up to date using a no cost media platform. Its simple, effective and builds investor trust and credibility, which is critical to building a shareholder base, which is very important for start up companies.
