I wonder if this financing is somehow related to the recent Vyera spinout of HIV rights to Regnum. Regnum has no money and no people to sell leronlimab if/when FDA gives LL HIV combo approval hopefully later this year. Could it be that someone is putting together financing for the whole thing, combining the Vyera spinout's HIV rights with CYDY's full HIV and all other rights, into a new company, or at least financing a joint venture somehow? Is a big backer going to merge CYDY and Regnum, and finance the whole thing?
Just a thought, that CYDY and Regnum both need money to sell LL for HIV, and to finance all the other opportunities of LL in NASH, cancer, Covid-acute and LH, mono HIV, stroke, etc...
I would be fine with some kind of joint venture just for HIV, or even some kind of merger into a new entity that owns 100% of the rights of leronlimab to everything.
This potential new entity could be a private one, or perhaps a SPAC, or perhaps just financing for Regnum that buys out Cytodyn?
Ahh, one can dream anyways.
