I don’t know what a potential blockbuster buyout looks like. However, I find this brief timeline compelling…

200m share approval keeps us afloat for a while — *cough* leverage.
NP and SK begin to mention partners on CCs. Often.
Dec 2021 — “NASH results looking great. Wheeee. Will share 700mg soon! Showing data to potential partners etc.”
Jan 11th 2022 — “You guys ready for an update call in 2 days!”
Jan 13th — “Call canceled. More soon bye!”
Jan 25th — “Dr NP has been terminated. Hasta la vista, baby. Oh and also we’ve filled key leadership positions with M&A folks. ‘Kay, bye.”
