Think about it. You DO NOT rely on the person that you're terminating to interview their replacement. If the board felt he needed to be removed, and they clearly did, they would not ask him to hang around while they hired his replacement. That's standard protocol in the business world. Terminated employees can do a lot of damage on the way out the door which is why their termination is normally effective immediately. Additionally, there were five directors, and we know at least three of them voted to terminate him. Now this is pure speculation, but assuming SK may (and I say may) have supported NP, then do you really think the other three board members would give him advance notice knowing that he and maybe SK would only have to convince one board member to vote against it?
