Have they released any data on viral load drop?
"Primary endpoint of time to clinical improvement reached with average reduction of 2.7 days in the Tollovir group vs. the placebo group"
Remdesivir which is useless crap and doesn't have a viral load drop either had a 5 day "improvement".
Patients in the trial ranged from moderate to severe and the trial allowed patients up to a 96% oxygen saturation rate which is within normal range. Those on any form of artificial respiration were excluded. They also excluded patients with elevated ALT/AST liver enzymes, lowered neutrophil counts and lowered platelets counts. In other words the patients were in pretty good shape yet 22% died in the control arm. Does that seem right to you?
Watch and see what happens when they do a phase 2/3 trial with the results having to go in front of the FDA.
