BETHLEHEM, Pa., Feb. 28, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- MedClean Technologies (OTC Bulletin Board: MCLN), the leading provider of technology designed for the efficient treatment and disposal of medical waste and the destruction of confidential documents and related media, today announced that the Board of Directors has appointed a new Chairman and CEO.
Jay Bendis will return to his former role as Chairman of the board. Mr. Bendis previously served as Chairman and has been involved with MedClean as a Board Member since 2006.

John Accardi was promoted to CEO from Senior Vice President of Business Development.. While responsible for business development, the MedClean installed base has increased by 20% with new installs in California, Arkansas, Pennsylvania, Mexico, Puerto Rico and Iowa. Mr. Accardi's extensive management experience includes building domestic and international direct sales forces, as well as international partner recruitment and management. Mr. Accardi brings more than 25 years of broad operational experience in marketing, sales, business development, channel development and product development.
