Nice read on CCR5 now and the future with Crispr… gene editing. I have always thought that the window of monoclonal antibodies is until we figure out gene editing and just what every gene is exactly for and if we need it or not. We have discovered and mapped the DNA strand and know a lot now but the next 10-15 years Crispr will be editing and stopping all disease in my opinion.
There may be some use for certain mabs in 15-20 years but Crispr is our future of very much precision medicine coming. If you don’t know about Crispr it is important for everyone to do their proper D&D and know what is our future medicine looks like.
