I agree with your comments that vaccines and other therapeutics are the competition, and that we need to know the lay of the land in which Leronlimab competes. Very good point!

As I'm sure know, it's the mod's responsibility to keep the board civil so that we can continue to use it as a tool to gather and share information through informative discussions. We need to allow people to discuss vaccines as well any other covid treatment given that we're in the covid arena. However, as Riz said, we can't allow the discussions to go sideways and evolve into vax vs antivax arguments. When it gets to that point, we have no choice but to start removing the offending and off-topic posts. If people want to discuss vaccines and how they work, there's nothing wrong with that. But unfortunately, the vax vs anti-vax posts quickly spiral into the political arena followed by name calling and insulting each other, and that is clearly off-topic for this board. It seems only logical to start removing posts that are headed in that direction when it appears they are about to evolve into an argument. We really have to walk a fine line when it comes to the vaccine topic because, technically, it is related to covid, and by default LL. However, we will remove posts that cross the line and veer into the politically charged vax / ant-vax arena because they only serve one purpose, and that is to allow hardliners to vent and try to force their opinions on others, and that is not the purpose of this board.
