Prescription Drugs of all kinds have expiration dates and expire over time, and can also lose their effectiveness when exposed to heat, air and moisture. I imagine the same is true for any kind of present day virus test - for antigens or antibodies and all blood tests. QMC has a QD that resists environmental degradation and therefore could possibly last on the shelf for years reliably. Sinopharm has a dry mix vaccine that has the advantage of long shelf life relative to the major Pharmas that need to temperature control their vaccine vials via refrigeration. My point is besides testing vaccines today, the QD won't degrade in hot climates and will last the longest of any vaccine tests.
BTW, QMC also has a food grade QD which will be useful for in vivo biomarker-QD assays for cancer tests and other conditions and diseases.
I once listed over 20 different QD and nano products QMC was offering at the time. I would bet they have added to the list.
Finally, my personal opinion if that its looking like QMC has developed a QD platform to link to many different biomarkers - antigens, antibodies, mRNA, etc., which can all be read quickly by a POC reader.
