I don’t like to speculate but after some DD and talking to other fellow investors I’ve come to the conclusion that the SEC/DOJ investigation was a complaint filed 13 D group awhile ago. It’s an on going investigation and I wouldn’t talk to my fed buddy’s about an open case.
Sounds like these clowns filed a complaint the DOJ/SEC is doing some CYA and following up on the information the 13D gave them.
I have an idea who reached out to the SEC. This happened somewhere around June of 2020 ? Anyone have a better idea when the case opened I’m not sure if it’s public info.
Anyways my point being is there’s a pretty good chance that is it’s a show and SEC has to investigate. If they find any wrong doing then so be it but I’m not sure that’s the case.
Subpoenas are pretty common practice for feds even for small things. Anyways until I hear things like search warrant or arrest I won’t lose any sleep over it. Feds just want to clear case off their desk.
