Actually all kidding aside I did always realize Two Minute Drill was good publicity for Verb. I never knew though what kind of viewership it got given the timeslot it aired in. It was available on Amazon Prime but I suspect if you didn’t search for it, it would never show up
For certain the deal between Apple and Dave Meltzer is going to increase viewership of Two Minute Drill for its 3rd season and that can only help bring more attention to Verb since Rory and Verb are a big part of the show.
I actually never thought it was bad, it just didn’t end up interesting me that much. I suspect for people who are more interested in watching sales pitches than I am, and learning on how to do them or improve them, they probably found it very interesting. That being said I do plan on watching Season 3 to see how they incorporate interactivity into the show!
Actually you had me curious about Amazon. It definitely no longer appears to be free on there like Season 1 used to be! I wasn’t aware of that since I never attempted to watch Season 2! It’s good to know they made improvements based on what they learned from Season 1. Also I had completely forgotten about the set being virtual and it did look really good, I can imagine it is more challenging having to do the show against a green screen, unless newer technology somehow avoids that or makes it easier.
