The basher's premise is that everything is the fault of the CEO -- things over which he has no control, like incompetence or malice from a CRO, malice and greed from a hostile takeover group that wants to bleed CYDY dry to buy a company worth less than 1/10th of the deal they bruit about as wonderful; a guy who files a patent on work that he did under contract, and which belongs to CYDY; the lawsuits having to defend against these attacks, and, of course, the unrelenting bashing that is designed to scare new investors away and make current investors throw in the towel.

Here's another way of looking at the situation:
You're driving along at the speed limit on a highway. Suddenly a drunk driver crosses the median, crashes into you, and you sustain injuries. He's uninsured so you are out of pocket for those expenses until the lawsuits are settled.

But Craig is your attorney, and he says it's your own damn fault for being out on the highway. So you should stop paying for medical care and just die.
