Disney would be a logical company to tap into interactive TV with VERB. Over the past year, Disney merchandise has been showing up at retailers like Homegoods for discounted prices. With Covid slowing down the theme park traffic, seems reasonable they are losing sales.
With Disney plus and interactive TV, they could sell to a broader audience. Hey, Martha, didn't Little Jimmy want a Hulk T-Shirt? Let's order one right now. BOOM...DONE.
Maybe they start with Marketplace, a one hour Livestream for a new Disney movie with an actor. Even using recorded interviews. People that watch and follow movies are buyers of the merchandise. I would bet there is a warehouse somewhere with Mulan gear that could be sold with a livestream show.
