"yes the brazil story is agony i though einstein was going to charge to the front lines for us and really get things going...no real explanation on why this is taking so painfully long bu thteir numbers are way down...how is it that the US is in such worse shape?"
The delays, with the IV approval and additional delays with customs, cost us dearly. The reason that the US is getting hit harder is the difference in seasons. It is summer in Brazil. There is less congregation indoors, with recirculating air. Additionally, they were later getting their population vaccinated. Therefore, their population benefitted from better resistance. It was the perfect storm against us. But hey, what else is new?
They need to get the BLA completed! Even with a weakened market potential, they need to get their license to sell the drug. Everything gets a little easier from that point.
As for concentrating on clinical trials, let's get Long-hauler's going. We will own that market. At least for awhile. I guess we have to see how long the FDA stalls us on approving the protocol.
The new year is starting with disappointment. I'm hoping these guys can get it together, and keep the fight.
