I've written a lot of things that way, to be honest. The trick is not to use the wrong angle.
The really fun part of doing a documentary is when you start with the idea that a certain person is going to represent the "wrong" point of view. And that person becomes the most winning character in the film. It sows doubt in the mind of the viewer, and doubt is good.
