I’m assuming this is for you but just in case you were asking for the pregnant sister in law, just double check she’s not taking too much zinc bc prenatal vitamins already have it. Too much zinc can be bad so make sure she’s getting copper in her prenatal stuff as it helps balance the zinc in the body. Cheap brands don’t have copper or have the wrong type of vitamin K which isn’t the worst, it just not ideal.
Personally I like taking adaptogenics as well when I feel like I’m getting sick. My favorite one is Ashwghanda. I also believe Ashwghanda plays a role in CCR5 there some studies on it. Anyways DM me if you have any questions, I’m a huge nerd when it comes to supplements. It helps me push my body to its limits and keep me healthy.
Hope your family stays healthy.

“ Conclusions
A water-soluble extract of Ashwagandha has anti- inflammatory effects, specifically reducing gene expresi- son of CCL2 and CCL5 in response to TNFα or LPS stimulation. This may be mediated, in part, via a reduc- tion in NF-κB activity. These data suggest that Ashwa- gandha may represent a botanical approach for the management of renal dysfunction.”
