Agreed. Have been telling people I think Omicron

Data from S. Africa seems to support this.
But lots of unknowns still, and lots of questions.
Though I've been on the fence and haven't seen the data on boosters and Omicron, am going for my booster soon. Was eligible since July, but have been holding off. New Omicron surge and I guess why not just get it?
Omicron should enable the transition to the endemic phase of SARS2 infection worldwide, given the virus doesn't have more huge mutations in store in the future.
Hopefully this transition will be less painful since it should be quicker and since overall should be more mild disease (with less deaths). That could be because younger people overall this time, all the really sick folks already taken out, because all now have some prior immunity from vaccines or prior SARS2 strain infections, or other. Or it could not be true. I know some health systems are overwhelmed already. Pray that it ends quickly.
