Hate to bother you guys again. Question for doctor
Post# of 148109
Long Hauler here (yes, life sux), was in the LL phase 2, will be in 3.
Am feeling like refried dogsqueeze in the microwave.
But, am not one to take things lying down. I don't even watch tv.
Have indirectly got the scuttlebutt from other doctors (not tv actors) suffering the same LH.
The short of it is that on my plate are blood tests -
(1) "Iron reserve" test. One doc said hers (LHer) came in really low, had an infusion IV, now feels great. There is hope?
(2) D-Dimer test. I dread the results. Word from my sources is it's common w/ LHers..."we see in a lot of our post-covid patients."
(3) "transferrin and ferritin level" tests. Those are Greek to me, but appear redundant of the "iron reserve" test.
But, what do I know. I'm not a doctor, just an excellent gardner - the longest night of the year is in one week. Then the days start getting longer. Spring.
Any advisory comments/explanations appreciated, but my primary question is next.
Everyone has heard the allegation that covid/spikes/vax inexorably compromises/destroys the "innate immune system",
leading to so many horror stories presently.
Cuttin to the case
Which immunity test should I take? There are a number of them.
The most itemized results seem the right ones. I like hard facts. I could be totally wrong. I don't know.
But I do know this is serious, and I have to be my own advocate, because I have 0 family.
Do you know which test-blood-draw I should take to ascertain resultant immuno' dysfunction/down reg?
Thanks.
Respert, vodka does not help LHers. I tried that too.
PM or public, if you would be so kind.
