Interesting time to start a trial in the USA. I am just going to give everyone a couple of “what ifs”.
What if we are trialed during a much milder Omicron Covid variant take over of all Covid infections? Advantage/disadvantage?
What if we are separated from other previously approved treatments already approved for Covid because of the milder Omicron variant? Advantage/disadvantage?
What if this is an advantage to trial both Delta and Omicron evenly. Advantage/disadvantage?
We know we work across the board for all variants because of our MOA for covid. This will be the time maybe to prove this one fact that will give us the proper use now and into the future with other variants and even other pandemics. Now is a interesting time to show what Leronlimab can do with multiple variants in play.
I wonder if they even track which variant each patient is infected with. I would think so but it could be Covid is just Covid…Critical is just critical…let’s hope we get to show our success across two or more variants to show just how valued Leronlimab should be.
