People that came to America 50 60 70 years ago from other Countries came here to be " American " and to have a better life They took the time to learn the language our way of life. My grandfather came from Sweeden he would sing American songs like America the beautiful My Country Tis of Thee with a small accent. He did not forget his heritage, but he wanted to be American
