Rising Inflation is not just an American phenomenon, it is a global phenomenon. Besides the supply/demand economics, the main driver of rising inflation is increasing money supply, as astronomical amount of money is being printed around the world, chasing after finite and limited natural resources, naturally commodity prices will rise.
