It's been tossed out there by NP and the gang that because this is a new area of study they've been constantly refining the protocol as they learn more. Seems like the most plausible reason for the delay outside of the shares needed from the shareholder vote. Though if it were just about shares they could have started the trial in December. I know some people say that with the holidays people wouldn't be compliant but since when do you hear about waiting lists to get into drug studies? These people are desperate and would gladly make any date work.
I'd also love to find out that they delayed it to January because they were expecting something bigger to happen before then which could have an effect. Like revenue from a partnership. Even if it's not a partnership on LH, but rather someone joining our Nash program and dumping some upfront money into our pockets, how we go about everything from that point on becomes different. We could, for instance, afford to run a larger trial that gives us an easier attempt at hitting our primary. Because now we're not borrowing from Fife but showering study sites with hundos from our hip like we're at a gentleman's club. NP will be drinking out of an engraved Yeti mug. SK will have 2 terabytes of additional memory downloaded into his computer brain. CR's blood pressure will rise to almost 85 over 30.
