Thoughts that run through my mind regarding Verb.
Maybe, I underappreciate and don't comprehend all the tech behind it, but how hard can it be having a clickable item on a screen (and when clicked on doesn't open a new screen)?
Frankly, I do think it's easy to copy for someone having funds and resources. After having bought an Oculus Quest 2 VR set and being impressed with the tech that must be behind this fantastic VR I can't help but thinking just having a clickable item on a screen must be easy to do.
Rory has been talking upbeat about everything to come. With that he's been driving up expectations and probably increasing the risk of people looking at it when launched, like "Is that it? Is that all there is?" (people like me not knowing how much work (?) was needed to get there).
While Rory welcomes competition (not really I believe) competitors are not that great if they'll actually making progress while you're not (or not showing it).
As I've become to believe it's not that difficult to copy Verb products it's of importance to hit fast and hard.
Thus far Verb has only be swinging the bat I feel.
