Ask Mesoblast how good mesenchymal stromal cells actually work in Covid-19. The answer is not good enough. Now ask yourself which biopharmas lie more those out of Canada or those out of Israel? I think it's a tossup.
Maximum age 77.4, severe only disease yet a 23% death rate in the SOC arm. That sounds a bit high to me. The mortality in the SOC arm is one of the first things I look for anymore because some studies have claimed massively high death rates.
When you look at the clinical trial protocol even though it's a phase 1/2 it's primary outcome is - No treatment-related adverse reactions. Mortality is not even listed as an outcome and enrollment is 35 patients.
