"We don’t really have—I think we have—I think we have less than 1,000 people that have—that actually downloaded and are using the free version. Again, that’s just solely from me talking about it at conferences and on the earnings call, we put $0 into marketing behind that, as anybody looking at our stuff knows, there’s no ads out there, there’s nothing about—about verbMAIL. We’re saving the dollars for the pro version, which obviously makes sense, right. We want to get an ROI on our marketing spend. There’s no ROI in the free version."
On the VerbLIT webcast, Denise mentioned there may be a Sales & Marketing Professional version and an Enterprise version.
I'm taking a guess that the former has the 'do you want to connect now' feature which would be great for salespeople these days who probably live in front of their computer.
What can drive investors' interest is...
1.) Announced Pricing
2.) Announced Sales
3.) Announced Customers
So far all we know is...
"we’re already seeing interest for large scale adoption by universities, well-known non-profit organizations, and believe it or not as well as the armed services."
VerbMail is Verb's first product that can be used by anyone, even outside of sales. There is the potential for wide scale adoption. I would be good to hear some recognizable names next year as this gets rolling and sold into the enterprises.
Is the product $5/mo, $10/mo. $20/mo.? Inquiring minds want to know.
