Many landed in Plymouth and Martha's Vineyard.
Then they pioneered into Ohio River Valley.
Many landing in Little Egypt ...
Act of 1871 did most of them in as to being Wealthy. By WWI there wasn't much left....and they were back to being slaves... of government.
