Damn...don;t even go there! had both eyes done around 5-7 years ago what a story? My right eye is my dominant eye so remember as that is important (at least) in my case and vast distances such as viewing the Grand Canyon is very important to me. One of the things I told one eye specialist is you believe me but it seems when I look at the ground it is like looking at a 3D image. So they did their checking and found that a macular pucker had formed in my right eye. This is the same eye that I almost was knocked out by a hit with a heavy electrical tool I was using. The specialist told me that I had cataracts in both eyes and said that needs to be fixed prior pucker surgery. I went to the best (so called) in the state and his tech's labeled me as left eye dominant which was wrong. So they did cataract surgery and did my left eye first then after 2 weeks my right eye. My eyes to this day fight dominance because of the difference in the lenses. My right eye is trying to see the distance and is set to basically see near. Left eye was for distance. Anyways the other specialist did the pucker surgery and that was fine but eye pressure and (just OK) vision has taken 5 years to adjust. It will take another surgery of either piggy back lenses or Lasik and of course my eyes are a bit too dry regardless of eye drops plus I have plugs in each eye to help hold some tear. So in time I will deal with the LASIK but where to go this time and will I be so unlucky to have failed surgery again? They told me not every surgery is successful and I just happen to be that unlucky person. You see my eyes in my thinking is more important than just about anything else but that is just me and yes I'm very sincere.
