Greetings HHSE Friends - Well, despite being fully vaccinated, HHSE CEO Eric Parkinson got a mild breakthrough case of COVID. Exposure most likely happened last week while filming episode seven of the COWBOYS OF CANNABIS series in Oklahoma City. In any event, despite a mild fever and headache for the first few days, we're pleased to report that he is back to his customary Herculean (!!) productivity on all essential matters: Form 10, MyFlix, Cowboys of Cannabis, Wildfire post and Belle Starr pre-production.
With THANKGIVING WEEKEND coming up soon - leading to lots of indoor gatherings and maskless situations - HHSE and Parkinson advise our friends to be safe and careful in all activities. Parkinson is athletic and in good physical condition - but still caught a break-out case of COVID. Fortunately, he emerged quickly and unscathed. But others, such as HHSE former President Fred Shefte, have been HOSPITALIZED for over 60-days now due to COVID. So it's not a virus to dismiss lightly.
Regardless of your vaccination status or personal position regarding masks, COVID is not something you would want to give to elderly parents or anyone with compromised health circumstances. So please be safe!
Watch this blog over the weekend for specific project status updates!
COVID can make you feel "not quite like yourself" - with mild symptoms of fever, headache and shortness of breath... all the way to debilitating respiratory obstruction and death. Be safe, my friends!
