I feel your first paragraph on your posting is far too simplistic... and implies a playground mentality on two grown men with education and maturity as a background.
I believe the reasons are cushioned in profound greed...in some form...not simply being covetous.
I agree with your second and third paragraphs wholly... with a caveat...once we get the first BTD...All eyes on VYROlogix...and other indications.
