A recent Colorado State University (“CSU”) report observed that 80% of the one million pounds of marijuana grown annually in Colorado is produced indoors. Indoor cultivation requires energy intense grow lights, fans to circulate air and strengthen stems, carbon dioxide gas to increase plant growth, and sophisticated equipment to maintain a comfortable temperature and humidity.
