What I'm seeing this morning is classic algorithmic trading by institutional investors. They are whacking the bid while at the same time maintaining a false flag low ask to both control loss and position for gain. Just look at Level 2. This is, in effect, uncontrolled legal manipulation to protect their capital. This usually is detrimental to retail investors as they are rarely able to keep up with the obvious internal trading action of the institutional players. Granted, it is difficult to know with absolute certainty when this is happening, but ones market experience is more than helpful. I expect AJH92 has such experience and pays close attention to the trading action in an attempt to reasonably discern the source of said action. His record keeping is meticulous and I, at times, successfully play off his commentary.
