as an average investor (meaning i'm not scientist or clinical trial expert), having something "filed" doesn't mean a ton to me.
what would be meaningful would be having a BTD granted. that i can understand. but filing something? i don't know how much time the FDA has to respond - or more importantly, what the likelihood of getting an approval is. statistics of how many filings get approved isn't meaningful - because these are all different companies in different areas.
i get why management communicates these - to give us updates - and i appreciate that as an investor. i'm just saying i'm not surprised that it doesn't move the needle in terms of the value of the SP / company.
