Yes big time...that pillow is so important right n

the main thing right now is rest even though you might feel differently. I'm sure you will have nurses come to the house 2-3 times a week for 2-4 weeks.
This is very important, stay clear of these dam message threads and listen to the nurses that visit with you even though you might be able to do everything in your mind. There is a reason why these programs in rehab are as they are so many thing may need to be changed over time especially diet, exercise and stress.
The heart at this time has weaken and the body has gone through a massive change. It is extremely important to allow healing time and done exactly like the rehab programs and nurse instruct. I didn't think I needed that but when I finally listened and did things exactly as instructed is when I became "teachable". Who knows better about my heart? me or the nurses and my surgeon. If you have had this problem over time like many of us then you probably have high blood pressure or at least higher that 135/80. If years of high blood pressure then your heart is most likely enlarged. You might of had a PFO which is generally from birth an easily fixed when your surgeon operated on you actually that would be fixed first. (hole in the wall that separates the two chambers) -not a big deal but is generally caused at birth when a wimpy doctor doesn't slap your ass hard enough to start you crying at birth.
Most in the thread regardless if they have had heart problems or prior CABG may be taking Metoprolol, Atorvastatin and Aspirin 81mg at minimum. I also take Ezetimibe 10mg.
Of course you probably went home with a light dose of Hydrocodone.
We might have much to talk about late including the need to select a great Cardiologist as he/she will be you life line from here on out. You will also do an Advanced Lipid PNL, W/inflammation blood work.
If you have had super high cholesterol you Cardio doctor will check your (what is called) "Lipoprotein A" etc. that figure should be <75 but mine is 155 (inherited) and not much can be done with that but the Ezetimbe 10mg coupled with Atorvastatin 80mg brought that down to 146. What this means is I can have "perfect blood cholesterol" reading and still have a sudden heart attack. The following is what most people know about when they have their blood work done which is my present reading readings but my (Lipoprotein A) is 146
TC 105
HDL 58
TRIG 57
LDL 34
Enough for now but in another month or two we can talk more you need to just relax as the healing time is so important. You will do just fine minding those sweet young chicks coming to the house to baby you
* caution ...grab your pillow prior to reading the following....
You will learn how to get the cholesterol out if you arteries and blood stream but it is a close secret on how you get the cholesterol out of the penis....don't laugh to hard but if you must grab your pillow.
