I agree that they should have been more assertive with Amarex after the first failed draft. But having dealt with a contractor who kept dragging his feet, after a significant portion of the fee had been paid, I can understand how you would think that you'd grit your teeth and try to get through this project, knowing that you'd never use them again.
Let's put the blame where it belongs -- on the obvious utter unprofessionalism and incompetence, negligence, or as some think, deliberate sabotage by Amarex. Not saying which of those I believe.
