"Facts are stubborn things," (John Adams #2 Pres,), but IMHO, when misapplied or brandished as weapons, they do not elucidate, they cannot be as persuasive as destructive, facts need context, ALWAYS.
Facts are facts, like them or not, and while some here like preaching to the choir and ignoring the tornado warnings, that doesn't make for open discussions or smart investing.
Most of us want to learn from those that have knowledge we do not possess, but we do not want to be lectured to, most of us want to share our own thoughts and experiences, hear and share those of fellow investors, but we do not want to be deluged with the rantings and ravings of the disaffected and disenchanted.
