I don't see how submitting a proxy that cannot be counted (i.e. the activist proxies) would have any bearing other that to establish a quorum (but that still seems very odd / illogical to me -- you can establish a quorum, but the proxy card you are using is completely invalid).
The results also seems to imply that the pro current BOD shareholders do not make up 50% of the shareholder base (as even dissenting votes would count toward the quorum).
