TECO's January 2013 TRRC Report Shows Incorrect Production Numbers
Production Numbers will be Corrected By Tomorrow Morning
Treaty Energy Corporation (TECO) received notification from the Texas Railroad Commission (TRRC) this morning that January 2013 production numbers were filed and posted to the TRRC website. These numbers were posted earlier than management had expected.
Upon immediately receiving the notification, TECO's management noticed significant discrepancies between the posted numbers and TECO's internal production numbers. After contacting TECO's Texas field operations, TECO determined that the numbers were the result of a misfiling. The numbers showed inaccurate and lower than expected production, as well as incorrect on hand numbers for every well in its inventory.
TECO is currently investigating the source of the misfiling and will be contacting the TRRC to correct the error. Once the source has been found, proper protocols will be put in place to ensure a misfiling does not occur again.
The proper numbers will be corrected this evening and will be posted no later than tomorrow morning on the TRRC website. TECO apologizes to it's shareholders and those following TECO's operations for the error and will correct the error as soon as possible.
