I was standing in line to get in to an outdoor taproom in Silicon Valley, CA. This was shortly after bars were starting to open up (again). I spoke with a guy who said he was a doctor at Stanford. I mentioned Leronlimab and Covid. He had never heard of it. He seemed somewhat interested as I described the trials (I'm very unclear on the time frame as we have had multiple "covid re-openings"

When I mentioned that Dr. Patterson was heavily involved, his eyes got a little bit wider and he took a half step back. He did not say anything negative about Dr. Patterson, but he definitely knew who he was, and I didn't get a warm and fuzzy vibe from his reaction.
