great post. totally agree, and i'll check out that news segment. the whole topic of MABs not being embraced sooner is incredibly frustrating. I watched my dad almost die from COVID - can't imagine those who have lost loved ones and the anger they feel knowing there was a therapeutic that could've saved their family member's life.
i was worried before the Brazil trials got started - that somehow the US FDA had strong-armed them into not following through. But now that it's rolling (and now that MABs are getting the respect they deserve) it's only a matter of time. You can suppress the truth for awhile, but eventually it will see the light of day - and that moment is approaching for us.
I would love to say that the FDA will face the fire for what they did with regard to our drug. But i'm sure they'll dodge any responsibility. no matter - we'll have our day in the sun soon enough - as soon as Brazil data materializes.
