I really like the idea you mentioned of the on-demand video of a game where a season ticket holder is in attendance, showing them at some point during the game. That would be a real incentive to purchase season tickets directly from the team. Of course, upselling merchandise during the ticket buying process, perhaps with a 10 or 20% discount, is a no-brainer. The special livestream chats with season pass holders sure is a great idea and a good use for livestreams. Another possibility is livestream during the game, fans can interact with each other during the game. Of course TV broadcast rights might prevent streaming the game live, so maybe that won't work. Although could be not the game itself, but some other live broadcast during the game where fans can interact.
All of these things, when properly marketed to teams, would be good incentives to get them to sign up with verbLive. Hopefully other teams (at least hockey teams for now) will take notice when the Penguins show great success in using verbLive. And of course, hopefully, other sports franchises' teams will start signing up beside the NHL.
