But I decided to take a look at what employees say about their company (Amarex) on the Glassdoor website....it was very enlightening because employees are the face and engine of a company - they're the ones who make it happen.
You can visit Amarex's entry but it requires some sort of account to view detailed info:
https://www.glassdoor.com/Overview/Working-at....11,17.htm
The employee reviews range between "Great Place" to "Horrible Place" to work. A lot of companies get that. But one thing that I noticed as a recurring theme was:
Quote:
"Salary is not competitive compared to other CROs"
"Depending on your role, you will be either overworked or underworked. The pay is lower than average."
"salary is a bit low, however, good benefits more than makeup for it"
"over worked and under paid"
"kind of waste time in the company. salary increases slowly."
"Salaries are low but are in the process of being reviewed and adjusted."
"Starting salaries can be low but are currently under review"
"Pay is at the lower end."
....and these employee reviews are just from the first page that goes back to Mar 14, 2020.
This does not sound like the employees feel valued, fair workload, nor fair salary. That usually indicates if they're not happy at work, their work is often not done well.
Let me just post one employee review and you can get the drift of some systemic employee issues that have persisted for years at Amarex.
