- First off, apologies for my last post or tone. Was feeling the emotions. I tend to dig for dd when this happens. And I think I may have found some "golden" nuggets.
- We have to remember some key points here and the PR above or how this relates to the "big" week.
Mental Health:
This is where UNVC is headed and the shell will soon be filled with companies to support this cause.
Close to home - Dr. David Dalton
@DrDavidDalton1
My son passed due to Opioid overdose today - Real change coming in many
ways.
- Incidentally - Tom (toodles) also lost his son to opiate overdose. (my apologies Tom)
Dr. David Dalton
@DrDavidDalton1
Tom
My deepest sincere condolences to you and your family.
- btw: This is not a corrupt CEO not addressing the needs of his shareholders.
Dalton has been sincere and forthcoming. Just go back in time and look at his work over the last 2 years.
The reason I want to mention this is where the direction UNVC is headed. Mentioning Amazon as a catalyst for PR is great, but I believe Doc's mission is Mental health and the "Wraparound" system as he calls it.
His big week might be referring to the clinics in the PR and these potential links.
- https://www.sheppardpratt.org/news-views/
Sheppard Pratt is a powerhouse in mental health in Maryland or US in general.
Massive hospital, research, teaching and inline with Doc's mission (IFAH).
They just opened the first opioid clinic that is progressive in treating the needs +
family. See press release.

Realizing they cannot tackle this problem alone they created a Hub and Spokes model. The "hub" is the new opioid clinic and the "spokes" are the ancillary partners or clinics they are partnering with. This is new and I believe Doc could be partnering up with this massive powerhouse in mental health.
- They have a board of directors... Any of you recognize some of the names?
When thinking about the spokes that surround the hub and the PR with the clinics Doc closed on Sept. 30th, I thought about mental health, CARF and the "wraparound" system.

- Parker Psychiatric Services
A One Stop "Mental Health Service Provider Without Walls." We are community
based and family focused, offering a person-centered approach to mental
wellness through our wraparound services."
- CARF Accredited Mental Health Agency

- Rims Enrichment Center
(interesting wraparound also means wrapping your arms around someone to
console them.). Rims is a small player but definitely inline with UNVC and
offers the same plan.
Both of these companies have numerous job positions listed on their sites and look to be growing.
Summary: (lol sorry I know this is wordy!)
Univec,Inc. (UNVC) is an organization whose mission is to change the way healthcare is delivered in America. We are expanding solutions in the substance abuse arena for medication and to include mental and physical healthcare, telehealth services and technology systems and solutions. Univec treats the patient as a whole to improve outcomes for our patients and clients "Total Wraparound" is the foundation for patient support.
I think we all need to remind ourselves that the work behind the scenes was the big week Doc was referring to. Just look at the amount of money that is being put into Mental health in Baltimore County.
oh! as a side note, check out http://chaitra.com/ and her new site - similar focus on mental health.
Can any of you in the know see direct links to Dalton from these 3 companies? thx
