I fear that the impact of Amarex could be far reaching. Did they give us A+ support on other projects/trials? They were involved with creation, recruiting, managing data, and presentation of findings on our trials to FDA. We know recruiting was very slow for CD12. What was the Amarex complicity? What about the two dosage limitation? Were their data presentations to the FDA optimal? If suboptimal, the FDA hit piece may invite a different interpretation? Conspiracy theorists may have a field day.
This does explain the situation with the BLA. I am happy that we see an unfolding and unrealized back story to the problems with the BLA. It shows that management’s planning was not coming off the rails. It is a shame that this action by Amarex is affecting the lives of so many people. Shame on that!
However even with this new light shed on problems confronting our company, I still believe Nader’s compensation plan is way over the top!
