I have no idea how you know this but it is certainly true.
Shorts first establish the short position and then use additioal shorts to drive sentiment. It is pure psychological warfare. Their investment dollars tossed into the battle are the troops. Their misinformation capaigns are hitting the flanks and supply lines.
