My apologies, I could have more clearly described the context. I won't go find the MSNBC snippet, but let me try to describe it better.
At the end of "11th Hour w Brian Williams" last night Leronlimab was mentioned twice. To my recollection, it was the first time ever that Leronlimab has been mentioned on (NBC) the National Broadcast Company.
It was eye-popping to me, at least.
The final segment was about misinformation surrounding the pandemic. The last 60 seconds I guess, was a video montage replaying some of the misinformation that has previously been seen on broadcast and cable television. I think there must have been about 30 or so :02 second snippets of dis-information. Included were several prominent politicians, several talk-show hosts, several 'news' castors, some celebrities, some quack Docs, some internet anti-vaxxers, as I recall.
Many of the 30 snippets discussed questionable therapeutics such as Bear Urine, sticking a light up your butt, Ivermecton paste, pills, HQL, vet meds, strenuous exercise, diet, and vitamins.
Right there in the middle of all of that, two snippets mentioned Leronlimab in the company of this other non-sense.
My first reaction was, "Hey, wait a minute."
Then I figured, "Well, that's kinda flattering. We FINALLY got mentioned on NBC."
Today, I have realized that one of two things were in play to get Leronlimab (remember it's a lot of syllables) inserted into that 60 second Montage TWICE!
Likely, the junior editor has no idea what Leronlimab is, and heard it mentioned on Fox, so he/she put it in there as a matter of filling time.
More likely in my opinion is, Leronlimab was mentioned in a negative light for the first time on NBC in that 60 second Montage, because somebody else in Pharma pays NBC's bills. Until Cytodyn pays NBC's bills, we will not be mentioned on NBC in a positive light. Furthermore, because 'somebody else' pays NBC's bills, MSNBC trashed us in this way at the behest, or at least to the pleasure of the entity that does pays NBC's bills.
