We know a little about bootlegging around my area. In my backyard is Thunder Road made famous by the 1958 Robert Mitchum movie with the same name. The surrounding counties were and still are full of stills even though moonshine is mostly legal now.

OT but this is one crazy character who did a lot of his best work about 30 miles away.
